Which Class is Right for You?

Most of our classes are considered multi-level, meaning that all levels, including beginner, are welcome to attend. We teach with cues, options and a watchful eye so that everyone enjoys their experience. Having said that, there are recommendations listed to the right.

A Bit About Heat …

We use Infrared as our source of heat as it is the most therapeutic. Infrared heat penetrates the body resulting in a deeper sweat, which rids the body of toxins and the warmth increases flexibility, and it also helps alleviate pain due to Fibromyalgia, Osteo-Arthritis, general back pain due to tightness and many sciatica issues. It is the safest form of heat for a hot yoga studio making it easy for those with asthma or high blood pressure to enjoy a hot or warm class. Don’t be fooled by ‘radiant heat” it is NOT the same as Infrared Heat.

CAUTION: Not suitable for those suffering from inflammatory conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis or M.S. For those who are pregnant, no hot classes.

Approximate temperatures of our classes:

Hot Classes: 36~38C    Warm Classes: 29~32C    Cool Classes: 22C

A Bit About Children …

Children 8 – 12 years of age are welcome to attend our classes, however the minimum age for our hot classes is 13 years. Adult accompaniment is required for children 8 – 16 years of age, and we suggest the following as suitable for children: Bliss Yoga, Slow Yoga, Warm & Easy Yoga, or Warm Yoga classes. Please keep in mind that these are classes geared for adults not children.

In this class you will be guided to tap into your deep stabilizing muscles which are the true foundation of your core and key to helping you manage and combat back issues. With layered yoga postures and breath work, this practice is sure to fire you up from the inside out! A great class for post natal moms too. Your muscles will love the gentle heat.

Sun Room (warm temperature)
Warm & Easy Yoga: Less heat, less sweat. A cozy warm room welcomes you, with the focus more on stretch than strength, but there will still be challenges to conquer.
