On Your Way In …

  • Always strive to arrive at least fifteen minutes early, to provide time to register if you are new, to change if needed and to settle into class. Class begins promptly – latecomers will not be permitted entry.
  • IF you elected to sign up for a class online, you MUST check in 10 minutes prior to class start or risk losing your spot.
  • Remove your shoes at the designated areas before proceeding into the studio.
  • Turn off all cell phones and all other electronic devices before entering the yoga studio.
  • While in the hallways or change rooms, please talk softly and quietly in order to respect those meditating prior to class.
  • As many people may have sensitivities or allergies to fragrances, please refrain from applying perfume, cologne, or other heavily scented products or wearing scented clothing (scented laundry products).
  • Clothing: Please wear clothing that is light, comfortable and contains your physical attributes.
  • It is recommended not to eat for 1-2 hours before class, and to drink plenty of water throughout the day. It is very important to arrive hydrated when practicing hot yoga.
  • It is important to stock up on your electrolytes for a hot yoga class. Ask us how.
In the Studio ...
  • Keep in mind that your mat is your space and you generally do not need more than a few inches on either side of your mat. Please set up your with the ‘ T ‘ mat marker at the top center of your mat. This provides a welcoming space for others as they enter.
  • Silence is expected prior to class. This quiet time is offered to help everyone to shed their day and prepare for class. Many come early specifically for this. Please respect this policy.
  • Feel free to use any of the yoga props provided in the studios (pillows, bolsters, blocks, straps or blankets) please clean them if needed and return them neatly to the space provided at the end of each class.
  • If you know you will have to leave early, let the teacher know beforehand. Sit near the door and try to leave at a good time in the class (i.e. just before savasana).
  • If you have a medical condition that may affect your ability to safely participate please inform your teacher at the beginning of the class.
  • If you are not feeling well and must leave, try to signal the teacher and leave the room as quietly as possible. If it becomes worse, or you feel faint please let the teacher know immediately so that we may assist you.
  • Always feel free to ask your yoga teacher for assistance during your class. If you have longer questions that relate to your individual practice, approach your teacher after class.
Do I Need to Pre-register for a Class?

It is not necessary to pre-register, but it is helpful in keeping you on track with your fitness goals. You made the “appointment”, so you gotta go. But if you do, you earn reward points that can earn you free stuff and services, cool eh?

IF you do pre-register online, know two things:
1) You must check in 10 minutes before class starts or you run the risk of losing your spot.
2) If you are a no show and hold a class pass, the system will dock you for the one class as a late cancellation.

Workshops do require pre-registration by the deadline date specified.
