Meet Our Fabulous Teachers

Radiant Health Yoga is truly blessed to have so many fabulous and passionate teachers, each certified in their respective field(s), each unique in what they share with you in their classes. Enjoy variety, humour, camaraderie, and sometimes just plain silliness.

Our class sizes are smaller, allowing our teachers the ability to provide you with proper exercise technique and to inspire you to stay on track with your fitness goals. All teachers have First Aid CPR training. CYT means Certified Yoga Teacher. CYPT means Certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher. E means experienced. 200 means 200 hour basic training. 500 means an additional 300 hours of training.

Private or Semi Private Sessions:

With your very individual needs in mind, we offer you a yoga experience to enjoy on your own or to share with someone special. We can also design a yoga program exclusively based upon your requirements. It is ideal for those new to yoga and for those looking to deepen their practice and get one-on-one guidance.

Having practiced yoga for over 7 years, some of the benefits of this practice seeped into my being slowly over the time and other benefits were apparent almost immediately. As I draw closer to my retirement day from nursing and pondering what to do, it was clear that I wished to help others as I have been helped.

My own personal movement journey has led me to teaching Yoga and Pilates. I am very excited to return to Radiant Health and offer my skills and knowledge in a place that has come to feel like home to me. My classes allow you to work at your own pace with some encouragement from me to help you achieve your maximum! I believe that we can all benefit from this practice and modifications are always offered so you can work safely and effectively with all the exercises.

“I always knew I wanted to get into a profession that would help other individuals in some aspect of their lives. When the opportunity arose to become a yoga teacher, it felt as though everything was falling into place. As a mother of three children, with two being home births, it was only natural for me to become a certified Prenatal yoga teacher. Soon afterward, I was drawn to receive training as a Labour Doula and Bellies Inc. certified; which completely changing my focus toward pelvic health in my teaching. Vanessa Vandenbussche, CYT 200

I realized I was very passionate towards achieving wellness in all dimensions of my life which is what attracted me to yoga. After seeing the benefits yoga had on my life I wanted to share it with others and therefore become a teacher. Yoga is a great workout for your body and your mind; it is something everyone should try to incorporate into their daily lives!

As a long time health enthusiast I tried yoga after the birth of my first son, and enjoyed it as much as running. It wasn’t until after the birth of my second son that I truly appreciated the impact on my mental health. As a mom of two you busy boys, and working full-time outside of the home; finding the balance and time for myself became so much more important. I attended Deva Tree wanting to grow my personal practice and realized how much I wanted to share the gift of yoga with you.
